Tomorrowland Thailand 2026: a guide to the first full-scale Asian edition
The Belgian festival's first full-scale edition in Asia runs Friday 11 to Sunday 13 December 2026 at Wisdom Valley outside Pattaya, under the theme Consciencia. The stages, the line-up, the sold out ticket position, and how a festival with no camping actually works.
The short answer: Tomorrowland Thailand runs for three days, Friday 11 to Sunday 13 December 2026, at Wisdom Valley in Khao Mai Kaew, outside Pattaya in Chonburi province. It is the festival's first full-scale edition in Asia, built on a 237 acre site under the 2026 theme Consciencia, and the official festival site states that it is sold out. There is no camping. Everyone sleeps in hotels and rides shuttles, which makes this a Pattaya trip with a festival in it, not a festival you camp at. Our calendar record is Tomorrowland Thailand 2026.
What this edition is
Tomorrowland began in Boom, Belgium, and its full-scale format, a multi stage themed world built for a weekend, has previously run in Europe and South America. The Thailand edition is the format arriving in Asia at full size for the first time. The Tourism Authority of Thailand announced it on 27 February 2026, and the festival's own press material puts the expected attendance at more than 50,000 visitors a day across the three days. Wisdom Valley is a greenfield site in the hills inland from Pattaya, described by the festival as a tropical playground of mountains, water and open landscape. It is not a venue with an existing festival routine, so the practical arrangements below, all of them set by the organiser, matter more than usual.
The stages and the music
The stage plan follows the Belgian blueprint. The Mainstage anchors the site, and two of the festival's signature stages, CORE and Freedom, make their Asian debut in Thailand, alongside new stages designed specifically for this edition. The full line-up, published by Tomorrowland on 23 June 2026, runs to more than 100 artists from over 20 nationalities. Martin Garrix and Swedish House Mafia headline, both performing in Thailand for the first time, joined by names including Afrojack, Alan Walker, Steve Aoki, Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike, Alok and Lost Frequencies, with trance from Aly and Fila, Cosmic Gate and Ferry Corsten and a deeper techno edge from Kevin De Vries, Kölsch and Lilly Palmer.
The bill is not only imported. More than 20 Thai artists play across the weekend, among them Nakadia, the Thai DJ widely credited as the first Asian artist to break into the global techno circuit. If you go for one day only, the line-up announcement is the page to study, because the three days are programmed as one arc rather than three repeats.
Consciencia, the theme
Every full-scale Tomorrowland carries a story theme, and Consciencia is the thread that runs through the 2026 editions, beginning in Belgium, travelling to Thailand and finishing at Tomorrowland Brasil in 2027. The theme is built on six emotions: wonder, love, anger, joy, desire and sadness. In practice the theme is the design language of the stages, the site dressing and the ceremony pieces between sets, and the Thailand stages built for this edition are designed inside it. You do not need to follow the story to follow the music, but it explains why a site in the Chonburi hills will look like a province of an imaginary world for three days.
Tickets: the honest position
Four pass types were sold: a Full Madness Pass and a Full Madness Comfort (VIP) Pass covering all three days, and a Day Pass and a Day Comfort (VIP) Pass covering one day. Hotel packages went on sale first, on 28 February 2026, and the worldwide ticket sale followed on 7 March 2026. Both have closed. The festival's official Thailand site now states plainly that Tomorrowland Thailand 2026 is officially sold out, and our calendar record carries no price for it, because there is no official price left to quote. Anyone still hoping to go should work only through the festival's own channels and announcements. A sold out first edition is exactly the setting in which unofficial resale offers multiply, and the organiser's site is the only source that can say whether any further official release exists.
No DreamVille: how staying works
The Belgian edition camps its audience at DreamVille next to the site. Thailand does not. The organiser states there will be no DreamVille camping at this edition, and the accommodation model is hotel packages and hotels with shuttle transfers instead. The official packages combined a three day pass with stays in Pattaya and in the Bangkok area, with dedicated shuttle buses between the hotels and the festival grounds. Independent bookers face the same geometry: Wisdom Valley is inland from Pattaya, so the choice is between basing in Pattaya, with the beach and the nightlife and the shorter shuttle run, and basing in Bangkok, which adds a long road leg at both ends of a festival day. Our hotels page covers the Pattaya districts and their trade-offs, and for this weekend the shuttle, not the sea view, is the thing to organise first.
One piece of timing is worth knowing. Pattaya hosts two major festivals on consecutive weekends in December. Wonderfruit 2026 runs Thursday 3 to Monday 7 December at The Fields at Siam Country Club, in the same Bang Lamung district, a week before Tomorrowland opens. Anyone building a longer trip can do both without changing base, and should expect Pattaya's hotels to feel the pressure of the pair of them across the whole fortnight.
