The World Heritage Fair celebrates Ayutthaya's UNESCO listing each December with light and sound shows among the ruins, historical reenactments, cultural performances and a night market in the historical park.

About this event
Ayutthaya's fair marks the inscription of the historical park as a UNESCO World Heritage Site on 13 December 1991, and normally runs for about ten days in mid December with a ticketed light and sound show and a free fairground of food stalls and performances. The dates shown here mirror the previous edition and are unconfirmed: a provincial listing gives 6 to 15 December 2026, but the provincial government had not published a confirmed programme when this record was checked, and an edition of the fair was also staged in February 2026. Check the dates again before travelling.
