About this event
The fifth Bangkok Art Biennale runs from 29 October 2026 to 28 February 2027 under the theme Angels and Mara, exploring the tension between guardians of light and forces of temptation. Works by Thai and international artists are installed across heritage and contemporary venues, including Wat Arun, Wat Pho, Wat Prayoon, Museum Siam, One Bangkok and the Bangkok Art and Culture Centre, forming a citywide route along the river and through the old town. The Tourism Authority of Thailand is promoting the edition as a headline cultural draw for the cool season.
