Central Bangkok's malls compete with giant Christmas trees, light tunnels and themed displays from mid November into the New Year, centred on CentralWorld's tree at Ratchaprasong.

About this event
Bangkok's Christmas season is a mall and riverside light season rather than a single event, with the biggest displays at CentralWorld, Siam Paragon, Central Embassy, the EM District, ICONSIAM and One Bangkok. The dates shown here mirror the previous edition and are unconfirmed: displays usually go up in mid November and stay lit until early January. Christmas Day, 25 December, is a normal working day in Thailand, so the lights are an evening attraction alongside normal shopping hours.
