Coronation Day is a fixed public holiday on Tuesday 4 May 2027 on the Bank of Thailand list, commemorating the coronation of King Maha Vajiralongkorn in 2019. In 2027 it falls the day after the Monday substitution holiday for National Labour Day, which falls on Saturday 1 May, so Bangkok gets a four day weekend from 1 to 4 May. Government offices and banks close on the holiday itself, while shops and attractions trade normally.
