About this event
Beyond Yasothon's famous edition, Bun Bang Fai is celebrated in rocket towns across Isan each May, and Kuchinarai in Kalasin is one of the established local editions: villages build decorated bamboo rockets, parade them through the town and launch them in competition to call the rains, with mor lam performance and a fair around the launches. The 2027 dates are not yet published locally. The window shown follows the rocket season pattern of a mid May weekend, the same season as the dataset's Yasothon record, and will be updated when the district announces the edition.
