About this event
Lopburi grows more sunflowers than any other Thai province, and the fields planted for visitors bloom with the cool season. The Tourism Authority of Thailand's Lopburi province guide puts the sunflower season from November to January every year, spread across Phatthana Nikhom, Khok Samrong, Nong Muang and Mueang Lopburi districts, with individual farms opening viewing fields, stalls and photo spots as their plantings peak. There is no single festival date: farmers stagger planting, so the best field changes week by week and no official body publishes a field by field bloom calendar. The season window shown follows the Tourism Authority of Thailand's published November to January pattern for 2026-27. Check which fields are open before driving out, and go early in the morning when the heads face the sun.
