About this event
Pak Nam Pho, the confluence town at the head of the Chao Phraya, is one of Thailand's traditional longboat racing centres, and its regatta lands in the post Lent racing season, when the rivers are still high: longboats with crews of up to fifty paddlers race in heats over two days before crowds on both banks. The 2027 dates are not yet published. The window shown follows the regatta's established pattern of a late October weekend in the end of Lent season, the same season as the dataset's longboat records for Phichit, Phitsanulok and Bueng Kan, and will be updated when the province publishes its programme.
