Pattaya celebrates Songkran later than the rest of Thailand, ending with Wan Lai, the flowing day: in 2026 it fell on 18 April in Naklua, centred on Lan Po Public Park, and on 19 April in Pattaya itself, centred on Wat Chai Mongkol and Beach Road, which closes to traffic for the water festivities. These 2027 dates are unconfirmed: Pattaya City had not published its 2027 Songkran programme when checked on 27 October 2026, so the record relies on the fixed annual pattern, with Naklua on 18 April and Pattaya on 19 April every year.
