About this event
The Royal Thai Navy stages the full Royal Barge Procession down the Chao Phraya on Friday 6 November 2026, departing Wasukri Pier and passing Phra Sumen Fort, the Grand Palace and Siriraj Hospital before reaching Wat Arun. The Tourism Authority of Thailand's newsroom published the date, the route and the afternoon viewing arrangements, with riverside viewing areas opening from around 15:00. The Navy offered free tickets for designated viewing areas in a booking window in September 2026 that has now closed; the procession remains visible from public riverbanks and piers along the route. Twelve rehearsals ran from August to October 2026, including full dress rehearsals on 21 and 28 October.
