Bangkok's two famous Songkran streets, backpacker Khao San Road and office district Silom Road, close to traffic for three days of organised water play under Bangkok Metropolitan Administration management.

About this event
The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration designates Silom Road in Bang Rak district and Khao San Road in Phra Nakhon district among its main official Songkran venues, with managed zones, safety points and, in a recent year, plastic recycling collection points on both streets. The dates shown here mirror the previous edition and are unconfirmed: they follow the official Songkran holidays of 13 to 15 April 2027, although in 2026 Silom's organised water play ran a day earlier than Khao San's. Both streets are free to enter, extremely crowded and soaking from morning to night.
