About this event
The Bank of Thailand list gives the Songkran Festival holidays as Tuesday 13 April, Wednesday 14 April and Thursday 15 April 2027. Government offices and banks close on all three days. No extra special holiday day for Songkran appears in the official lists checked for this pass. The festival itself, including temple merit making in Bangkok and the organised water play zones, is covered by the Songkran records in this dataset. Intercity transport and hotels are at their busiest of the year across this period.
