About this event
The official 2027 holiday lists give Monday 3 May 2027 as the substitution holiday for National Labour Day, Saturday 1 May 2027, for banks and the private sector. Banks close on the Monday. Government offices open as normal, as they do not observe Labour Day. The Monday falls the day before Coronation Day on Tuesday 4 May 2027, so banks and private sector staff get a four day break from Saturday 1 May to Tuesday 4 May.
