About this event
Doi Mae Salong, the Chinese Yunnanese tea village in the Chiang Rai hills also called Santikhiri, holds its tea and sakura festival around New Year, with tea tastings from local plantations, tribal food stalls, cultural performances and fireworks on New Year's Eve. The 2026 edition is not yet confirmed by the Mae Fa Luang local administration, so this record is expected: listings give the established annual window as 28 December to 4 January, and the dates here follow that numbered pattern. Entry is free.
