About this event
The FIVB Board of Administration has approved Roi Et in northeastern Thailand as host of the Women's and Men's U21 Beach Volleyball World Championships from 26 to 31 October 2027, with 104 teams playing 184 matches. The announcement puts a full world championship in an Isan city that rarely sees global sport, arriving just after the Thai women's national team secured its first Olympic qualification for LA28. For visitors it pairs world class beach volleyball with an off the beaten track Roi Et stay.
