About this event
The Kathu Marathon is one of Phuket's longest established road races, and local coverage of the 2025 edition described a major event welcoming over 3,000 runners. Runlah lists the 2026 edition on 13 December 2026 with full marathon, half marathon and mini marathon categories, based at the Kathu Town Municipality Office. Kathu sits between Phuket Town and Patong, so the race works as a December anchor away from the island's beach resorts.
