About this event
King Rama II was born at Amphawa on 24 February 1767 by the old reckoning used locally, and the memorial park on his birthplace hosts the province's annual fair around his birthday commemoration in early February. The fair fills the park and its traditional Thai houses with classical performance, royal cuisine and dessert demonstrations, local crafts and community stalls, and it pairs naturally with the Amphawa floating market weekend. The 2027 dates are not yet published. The window shown follows the fair's early February pattern, centred on the commemoration period, and will be updated when the memorial park foundation and the province publish the programme.
