The Phuket Vegetarian Festival is held on the first nine days of the ninth month of the Chinese lunar calendar. Organisers were reported at the close of the 2026 festival as setting the 2027 dates for 30 September to 8 October 2027, but the Tourism Authority of Thailand and the shrines have not yet published a 2027 programme page, so this record is expected on that reported pattern. The main shrines are Jui Tui, Bang Niew and Kathu, where the festival began.
