The Ubon Ratchathani Candle Festival is held at Khao Phansa, the start of Buddhist Lent. Asalha Bucha falls on Sunday 18 July 2027 and Khao Phansa on 19 July 2027, and festival calendars place the 2027 festival on 17 to 19 July, with the main candle parade on Khao Phansa day at Thung Si Mueang. Neither the Tourism Authority of Thailand Ubon Ratchathani office nor the province has yet published a 2027 programme page, so this record is expected with the pattern stated: the festival runs over the Asalha Bucha and Khao Phansa days in July.
