About this event
The Bo Sang Umbrella and San Kamphaeng Handicraft Festival celebrates the mulberry paper umbrella makers of Bo Sang, with decorated streets, umbrella painting demonstrations, cultural performances, a parade and young women in Lanna dress cycling with umbrellas. The 2027 dates are not yet confirmed by San Kamphaeng district, so this record is expected: the festival is held on the third weekend of January, which was 16 to 18 January in 2026 and falls on 15 to 17 January in 2027. The street festival is free.
