About this event
The 2027 date is unconfirmed, and the festival listing used here states plainly that the next official date is not yet known. The pattern relied on is the second weekend of May, run Friday to Sunday, which gives 7 to 9 May 2027, with the decorated rocket parade on the Saturday and competitive launches at Phaya Thaen Park on the Sunday. Builders whose rockets fail to launch are traditionally thrown into a mud pit.
