The season dates shown are expected in this record because no Department of National Parks page stating them was opened for this pass, although reporting of the department's 2026-27 announcement gives both Surin and Similan reopening on 15 October 2026 and closing around 15 May 2027. Surin follows the same annual mid October to mid May pattern as Similan, closing through the southwest monsoon for safety and reef recovery.
