About this event
Each 26 December, survivors, residents and visitors gather at Ban Nam Khem for multi faith prayers, silence and floral tributes at the memorial. It is a solemn community commemoration, not a tourist event. The date is fixed by the anniversary. The 2026 programme is published close to the day by Takua Pa district, so this record is expected.
