About this event
Wat Phra Phutthabat, the shrine of the Buddha's footprint discovered in the seventeenth century, holds its main annual worship fair in the Makha Bucha season, when pilgrims climb to the mondop day and night and the temple grounds fill with a week long fair of food, goods and performance. A second, smaller fair follows in April. The 2027 fair dates are not yet published by the temple. The window shown follows the established pattern of the week around Makha Bucha, which falls on Sunday 21 February 2027, and will be updated when the temple announces the fair.
