About this event
The Song Nam Phra That festival honours the Buddha relic at Wat Phra That Hariphunchai with holy water brought from Doi Khamo, krua tan offering parades, drum and fingernail dance competitions, and the bathing of the chedi. The 2027 dates are not yet confirmed by the temple or Lamphun province, so this record is expected: the modern festival runs for about a week and ends on Visakha Bucha, which falls on 20 May 2027, following the pattern described for recent editions. The temple festival is free.
