Send your luggage on ahead.
In Bangkok you do not have to drag your bags with you. The same counters that store luggage at the airports will deliver it to your hotel the same day, move it between hotels when you change address, or forward it across Thailand, and for a bag going to another country there is a door to door shipping route. Here is how each one works.
Airport to hotel, the same day
AIRPORTELs delivers within Bangkok between the two airports, hotels, condominiums, guesthouses, shopping malls and its own counters. Same-day delivery starts at 299 baht per bag up to 25 kg for daytime drop-offs, with golf bags from 399 baht and oversize items from 599 baht; the exact same-day cutoff for your drop-off point is shown when you book. Hand a suitcase to the Suvarnabhumi or Don Mueang counter when you land and it meets you at your hotel that evening. Collection from an address needs a reservation, and every booking is insured up to 50,000 baht.
Hotel to hotel, and hotel to airport
The same delivery runs in reverse and between addresses: check out at noon, hand the bags over, spend the day unencumbered and collect them at your next hotel reception, or have them sent to the airport counter, which is open 24 hours, and pick them up before your flight. Bellugg runs a competing same-day service between Bangkok hotels and both airports: on its product listing, bags left at the hotel front desk before noon are delivered to the next hotel before 9 in the evening, and its airport counters at Suvarnabhumi (4th floor, Gate 7, between check-in rows P and Q) and Don Mueang are open 24 hours, with tracking on Bellugg's own website.
Onward across Thailand
If Bangkok is only the first stop, AIRPORTELs forwards luggage between Bangkok and Chiang Mai, Phuket, Pattaya, Hua Hin and Samui, delivered nationwide within 5 days, priced by route and bag size at booking.
